What skills are we looking for?

To complement our existing team of Account Managers we require candidates who possess the following skills:

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong negotiating skills

A background in sales would be advantageous as you will be required to sell on value rather than price and meet customer needs profitably. Full training is provided.

What is working for us really like?

The role of Account Manager involves:

  • Day to day contact with your customers via telephone and email
  • Process customer orders accurately and within the required timescale
  • Identify opportunities to supply your customers with a greater product range
  • Develop your customer portfolio through new business
  • Prospect for new customers through cold calling activities
  • Liaise with the purchasing department with regards to stock
  • Liaise with the warehouse team with regards to the shipping of orders
  • Liaise with the customer services department with regards to order issues
